Yesterday I shimmed the bellcrank/ servo saver to get rid of some slop.. But the plastic still has a ton of slop in it. I'm thinking I may look for an aluminum alternative, and add bearings to the bell cranks instead of the bushings.

It does need a shock rebuild, and I'd like to replace the battery boxes also..
so it is not for sale anymore..., great decision. Bearings helps a lot on the steering, my steering is solid, and still using the stock one.

I would trade it for the perfect deal that's about it.. Otherwise I plan on keeping. The bar that actually connects the 2 steering posts and the tie rods bolt to has play in it. I'm going to have to look into mods, I remember there was an aluminum bar to replace the stock plastic.. Forget the company though.

I will likely end up getting tcs tvps, and Esc mount also.

Is there anything else I need on top of one of these setups, and which do you think is the better option? Thanks for any help!
Here is a video I made a while back. Hope this helps.

That is PERFECT! Thank you all sooo much. Luckily a place about 4 hours away has some instock (no real hobby shop here) so they were ordered this morning and will probably be here even before my truck gets here! Now I just have to figure out a way to drill them out a bit. Will just using a standard drill press work well enough or do I need to find a machine shop? Thanks again, getting pretty excited even though we still have a ton of snow and it's -45C outside

Yeh Alza mounts. Maybe eventually a center diff kit, but for now I'm running an hd geared tranny with the high speed idler. I'm going to gear 25/44 at first and see how she acts.

I've got a Savage X that I'm about to convert to electric with an Alza center diff, and set of TVP's. I used to take it out to the track to goof off with, but now I prefer to just go out there and race.

Thought about selling it, but I like messing with it, and it'll be more fun to run in my neightborhood when it's electric.

I didn't sell my trucks...I might sell most of my second truck, but I plan to run my carbon fiber savage here pretty soon. I'm kind of liking the XXL 2 as a new truck to play around with, but I don't know where I'll get the money...

Well the only weakness to the Alza diff kit is the difficulty of getting to the screws from the top or bottom. Depending on what center diff you use, that could be a weakness too. I noticed that my Vorza diff had less wear than the pinion I was using.
