so. I am split between a traxxas slash and an Associated MGT 3.0. the MGT would be cheaper, but would it hold up as well as the slash for all around bashing? I just sold my Savage and need a replacement. under $300 for everything, off road, and tough. ideas? tower hobbies has the MGT for $219 on sale. they have the slash (w/ charger, 2 batteries, and connector plugs) for around $290.
otherwise there are a few CEN racing trucks for around $250, but I dont know anything about CEN. i was looking at either the Magnum NX or the MT-Spec 3.0.
they say they have sealed radio boxes. does that mean they are fairly water proof?
and i live in northern mn, so cold is an issue.

i think it would hold up alot better than a slash

what about the CEN Magnum NX? I want something i can eventually race, and from what i hear the MGT isn't great for that.
