e-maxx 3905 gear box noise?!

i just bought an e-maxx, 3905. the gear box is making a lot of noise, when i drive+when i push the car its the same way...is that normal?

The older Emaxx, 3906, does this so its not real surprising the new one does too. These are direct drive electrics and its just the way they are.

My new Savage Flux does it too.
