on both of them, the mentioned waterproof. that's a good thing.

Where you run into probs with either air or boat esc is braking - they are not programmed to provide braking like a surface esc is where you have proportional braking.

Don't know about the hobbywing esc, so can't comment there.

For the money , nothing comes close too the MMM combo IMO , they are going for 250 shipped online which is very cheap for what you are getting .

Plus you have some of the best customer service in the industry with Castle so if something does go wrong they have you covered .

If Tekin can match Castles price point with their new 1/8th scale system then the choice would be a little harder , but I doubt they will .

For the money you would spend on the fine design system you can buy a MMM combo... Which is what I would do instead. Ive heard good about the hobbywing system though. Pay attention to the size though... Its huge!
