Default E-revo Battery Help

Im running a e-revo with a Feigao 8xl with a mamba monster max esc, and currently 2x 2cell 3800mah team orion batt packs, and they run for about 8-10 mins. Can anyone sudjest any lipo packs that would give me longer run time, like double? And a link if posible. Thank you

Default Maxx amps

I run the Maxx amps 6400 2s packs in my brushless E-Revo. I have the Losi 2100kv monster motor and a Monster Maxx esc and can usually get 35 to 40 min of run time on the race track. Just look up Maxxamps.com.

Your Orion lipos are made from Kokam cells. They are high quality cells that are matched when assembled - thats the reason you don't have to balance them. I wouldn't expect the same from MA lipos, you'll need to balance them.

Correct, Ice does not have a balancer. This is a good one, easy to use that works well -

If you have a voltmeter, you can read the individual cell voltage via the balance tap. The Orion lipo - charge when it shows a diff in cell voltages, maybe every 7 to 10 times?

Lipos like Maxamps, I'd charge every time. Again, its how quickly the cells start to show diff voltages. I use a Hyperion 0610iNet charger with a built-in balancer and just balance every time.

I've never owned a batt by Integy, but everything else by them I've owned was poor quality. If its cheap compared to same capacity elsewhere, I would be concerned about the quality of the lipo cells.

Personally, I stick with name brands like Orion, PolyQuest, Flightpower, TrakPower, NeuEnergy, Hyperion. Its worth it in the long run.
