e-revo motor help
I have a e-revo, with a mamba monster esc and 2x 2 cell team orion 3800mah batts, and i would like to know what motor that will do good for it. I bought a feigao 8xl but it is bad and i cant get the guy who sold it to me to respond so i guess im outta luck. I live in Texas so it gets real hot and i only drive my cars when its warm outside. So i think i need a motor that wont overheat on me. But im a college kid on a budget of around $100 to $150. Can anyone recommend a motor for me? I would consider used but I'm skeptical now since the last used motor i bought doesn't work and i am out my money, even thou the guy on here who sold it to me has good rep.
any help or info is greatly appreciated

Get the Medusa 36-80. It's $145 plus shipping or you can buy the 36-70 for $123 plus shipping. I'm running a Medusa 36-70-2000Kv on 5S on my revo conversion. Nice runtimes and temps.

i just purchased a medusa 36-70 2300 kv.only gonna be running 4 cell lipo. i would skip the fiegaos... they are a temporary motor in most cases. they draw a lot of current, get hot and die.the medusa's are worth the extra money, especially because you wont have to keep buying them.if you go lipo, the hobbycity 4000 mah's have worked for me(zippy 2 cell hardcase),as well as the protek 4000 15 c from amain.i understand you have a budget, and those packs are around 30 each(naturally you'll need at least two).just wanted to give you a heads up.at race pace, you'll be lucky(from my experience)to get 7-8 minutes out of your 3800's.
i got my medusa from rc-monster.
