I have owned both trucks in question here.

My opinion is the current e-savage that is already out is a decent truck. It's just a smaller version of the nitro savage and pretty tough as well. It's definitely smaller than the current E-maxx and a tad slower as well.

I would pick the newer emaxx. I think it is an all around better package.

Now if you wanna spend some coin and wait a little longer I would go with the new yet to be in stock Flux Savage. It's the same size as the current savage x with a brushless system installed. The truck is STUPID powerful and crazy fast out of the box.

Absolutely, If you can wait for the new Flux Savage thats the way to go
If not the new E-maxx is a great truck as well, its drive train is supposed to handle the biggest brushless systems.
The New E-maxx stock out of the box is somewhat satisfying too on 14.4 volts. On 16.8 volts it just might make you happy.........:tire:

Savage Flux HP

Can't wait for this product to hit the shelves. It should be a show stopper.
Brushless,6 cell lipo capable ESC 25v ( two 3 cell lipo ) all metal gear tranny, savage xl machined diff gears, savage xl heavy duty dogbones. All its gonna need is a streched Chassis and offset wheels for racing. Cause standing backflips aren't gonna help when your racin'

always raced nitro.my daughters standard e maxx is pretty tuff!she hits the fence to back flip it and jumps things pretty high.we have ran it about a good 8 hrs and no breakage.i thought about e-revo for me.

whattt..the e-savvy is #1 compared to the maxx.. i have owned both the emaxx would blow shock towers and drive shafts all the time, my e-savy i jumped off a 13 foot roof onto pavement, and landed on the side of the tires,, nothing broken, i never had to replace anything on the savy,
