Default need fast e-revo help, thx

I just got my new e-revo roller, i am using brand new team orion 2x 2cell 3800mah batts a feigo(h/o u spell it) 8xl with a mamba max esc. Gearing is: 16/62 and its kinda slow. Compared to all other e-revo vids with that motor and batts its slow as hell, it wont pop wheelies, nor go very fast. I would really like quick help. Maybe my gearing is off, maybe i need a cc bec, not sure. The batts were fully charged and nothig was getting hot. i checked and the way i ran the 2x 2cel batts was correct outputing 15volts at 3800mah.
Also i am using default settings for the mm esc, everytime i try tweaking it it doesnt run and i have to reset.
thanks for any help.

Yeah, happened to me with my 1st BL - reverse your throttle channel and see if that doesn't change things. I noticed mine would go faster in rev that fwd - reversing throttle channel cured it.

Have you tried switching any 2 of the 3 motor wires and then reverse the throttle channel? Real slow with BL is usually reverse.

Basically you're running 4S on the MM and everyone says you must have an external BEC. Is this an older MM - the newer ones are not supposed to arm on 4S?? I ran a MM on 2 x 2S in series briefly but started with a external CC BEC. I don't see why using the on board bec would make it super slow though.

I'm running a Revo with the Tekno brushless kit, 4S Lipo and a Mamba Monster Max ESC all powering a Feigao 8XL motor. No problems with it...are you batteries wired in series and not parallel? If they are in parallel then you would only be running a 2S not a 4S. I had only one battery hooked up to mine to start just to make sure everything was running ok, and it was super slow - so check to make sure your cells are in series.

Glad you found the prob - just sorry its the motor - I started with an 8XL and they don't last too long especially if allowed to run hot, which is hard not to do. I ran with 3 fans - 2 on esc and 1 on motor and it didn't last the summer. TechnoNeu that replaced it runs a lot cooler and shows no sign of slowing after 7 months of use.

Good luck with the seller.
