I saw castle has the MM linked with a Neu motor, is it capable to using any brushless motor, like a novak 7.5 or 5.5?
What would be the draw backs of running this in a 1/10 truck?

the mamba monster max esc is meant to be used with sensorless brushless motors and if im not mistaken the novaks are sensored motors.

your best bet is to get a neu motor to run with the mamba monster max esc. you can buy them in a combo now . excellent setup to run in an e-revo which is 1/10 scale . putting the mamba monster/neu setup in other 1/10 scales is overkill.

i run the mamba monster max esc with a neu 1512 1.5d motor and a pair of 2s 8000 lipos and it works great. more than enough power
