Default BLACKFOOT info needed

does anyone know the stock gear box ratios on a blackfoot?

and the stock spur gear size?

I dont feel like ripping into the gearbox just yet and counting gears.

thanks

Which version Blackfoot??

From memory the original one had a 52t spur and 10tooth pinion (I could be wrong) not sure the final ratios.

The madcap/astute series spurs have the same inner gear if that helps but the are 0.6, not 32dp

I ripped the gearbox apart and counted teeth

heres the ratios so it will be on here if anyone else needs to know

The gearbox ratio on my truck is 3.05:1

However that is not stock, I noticed while looking at some other gears on ebay that mine is aftermarket.

Mine is the either the overdrive or underdrive setup.

The stock box is closer to 2.5:1

My spur is 48t

My pinion is 10t

I really doubt the spur is stock either.

The spur could be right. I got rid of mine many years ago.

Default Info

Best thing to do is go to the vintage Tamiya site and have a look at all the old manuals on line.
Site has an absolute wealth of info on anything, old tamiya.

hope this helps
