New guy here

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am new to the forums. Currently have a Losi LST, HPI Savage .25 amd a T-maxx that started out with the .15 motor and now has 2 2.5R motors in it with the "twin kit" custum fabricated by myself. I will put some pics up of the trucks soon.

Very cool, nice job on the custom fab work... Hows it run?:tire:

Runs like a raped ape! When ever you hit that gas though the rear end just slams down so I need to do something about the shocks. I need to run 4 instead of 8 because one of the pullstarters would hit it in the rear. I am thinking retrofitting LST shocks like some people are doing on Savages.

Very nice job on the twin build. Its always goods to see someone use some thought in a build, instead of buying a kit and slapping it together. Great job!.

LST big boresa should reduce the rear slap I would think. Have you tried heavier springs and thicker oil? This may help as well.

Good looking rig you got there. It's cool to see a twin engine set-up. I was thinking about doing that to my CEN Genesis.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words.

It took me about 2 months (december and January) but I am still tuning. Trying to workout that issue with the rear suspention and my radio system is acting a little funny so I will have to get that all straightened out. This is still the stock chassis plate from when I bought it so many years ago with the .15 motor. I used HPI mounts for the left motor and upgraded tanks from an HPI MT-2. Then I used two of those rear exhaust setups and just put them vertical instead of horizontal. I have to get a pic with the body on there too.

Go for it! Building them and then driving them will give you the most pleasure of all instead of just buying a kit and bolting it together.
