Help!
 

Hey guys,

After my steering parts for my Mad Force FINALLY arrived (over 2 weeks' wait!) I got my truck going again!

However, there is a major power discrepency between the front and the rear wheels.

The front two wheels are spinning MUCH faster and with much more power than the rear wheels. It's to the point that the front wheels will be spinning (as if doing a burn-out) and the rear wheels are basically driving the truck.

I took the rear wheels off and axel apart (not the diff though) and everything seems to be spinning freely. I put it back together and for 30 seconds or so it all seemed right, but then it started doing it again.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

I dont know anything about that particular truck, but it sounds like you have a center diff unloading. Basically as you accelerate, the weight of the truck transfers towards the rear wheels and the lighter easier to spin front tires recieve all the power from the motor. If the truck has a center diff remove it and fill it with about 50K diff fluid. That should solve the problem, yes in extreme cases you will see the front spinning faster than the rear but that if the point of the center diff it makes the truck steer better. You will also notice the truck accellerates much harder.
