12turn in e-maxx

Can you install 2 titan 12t motors in an e-maxx with a 14.4 esc?

From what I've read, the LOWEST turn motor is 12. Anything lower will overheat the ESC. The answer is yes. You should be able to double check it against the manual too. Just to make sure.

From the specs of the EVX-2 and as sharpe351 mentioned, IT should work. Just check for the right gearing. Don't overload the ESC, it's the maximum turn it can handle.

Thanks for the info!!

You might want to check the specs again.

When you run two motor in parallel the speed controller will see the total as half (1/2) the value of one motor, so in this case 2 X 12T motors will make the esc see them as a six (6) turn motor.

The other thing to consider is that the Titan 12T motor is rated for a max of 8.4 volts not 14.4v.

If you check the Traxxas website all this information is there.
