i am wondering if i could possibly make my team losi xxnt nitro truck into a monster truck does anyone know what parts i would need to do that

Where did you happen to get a "XXnt"? As far as I know there were a very limited few proto types that were a hybrid NXT with XXT suspension. I have one of the few around to my knowledge.

Just wondered where you got hold of one? It would be considered a collector and I wouldn't mess it up trying to rig it into a monster truck.

You probably could do it, but it would be a Frankenstein, buy a part and see if it works kind of proposition. By the time you got it done, you would have invested the cost of just going out and buying a monster truck. So, just go out and buy the monster you want, and then have two RC's trucks.

Oh, never mind then. As for converting the XXXnt. First problem would be taller wider tires. The problems begin with gearing. To turn taller wider heftier tires you need to gear down. Unfortunately the XXXnt has only a single spur gear to choose from and the lowest pinion is a 17t. This is not nearly low enough for big monstertruck tires. The engine would be seriously over worked and over heat badly.

Next problem would be 2 wheel drive only. That and limited ground clearance. The XXXnt is designed for low center of gravity and it has minimum ground clearance so running in grass or really rough terrain would be pretty much a waste of time. The truck would have a really hard time pushing big front tires through grass or over big obsticals.
