Is it ok to run 20% nitro in my enging? the manual says 10-15% and I had some dynamite left from my on road. will this be ok?

I can't see why not. The engine is abc so it should be able to handle 20% nitro. Run it slightly rich to keep temps down.

I am friends with a Pro racer for Losi and he swears that anything over 20% is a waste of money. I am not knocking you guys that run 25 or higher so please dont take it that way. Gil Sr. always said its good for nothing but warping or melting your piston or head. What ever you run make sure it has the highest oil base you can find, the most common is 12% but you can find 16%. Always buy a MIP temp gage for every truck it is well worth the money, its saves alot on new motors.

Hi,
If you are going to a higher nitro setting, you will have to re-tune your engine.
If I remember correctly, high nitro means having to set the engine richer.
Lower nitro content means you can set the engine leaner.
All the best...
