2.5 Pullstart question
 

Can the pullstart from a TRX .15 pro engine replace the EZ-start system on the new 2.5 race engine? Will the pullstart be a direct bolt-on? Or, what parts are needed to convert a new 2.5 w/ez-start to a pullstart?

I dont believe the .15 pullstart will work, however traxxas does have a new pull starter made for the 2.5, check out the option parts on their website.

Manufactures make very few pull starts, so a pull start from a .15 will fit any .15 engine from that manufacturer. The Race 2.5 is a .15 engine, so it may work.

Im using a HPI savage pullstart on my 2.5 :)

The Traxxas Pullstart for the older engine WILL NOT work, The bearing won't fit. I already made that mistake:lol:
