Default Imex & Proline Tires

Any notable differences in quality between the two, on-road and off-road?

The only thing I've heard is that Imex's Road Dawgs are far better than Prolines Road Rages.

Well, I've used both. I like that the Imex's are a little cheaper, and they have a good selection. Most of theirs are a little harder compound so they last a little longer, but not the same grip.

I was just at the LHS yesterday looking at tires for a crawler I'm working on. The Prolines were definitely more pliable. I'll probably spend a little more for the Prolines, but it will be worth it.

I guess it depends on what you're going to use them for. I and my friends love the Imex's for bashing. They last a long time and take a beating. If you're going to race, it's worth the extra few bucks to buy Proline. They have many compounds to fit every neeed.

Thanks for the feedback, Ray.

All we've used are Proline tires, but we're actually looking for a set of on-road / asphalt tires for our other Savage and Proline's on-road tires suck, to say the least. Since they seem to be manufactured to last a long time, they don't "bite" the asphalt very well.

We were actually interested in the Imex Road Dawgs. They definitely look beefier and come in soft and medium compounds.

Anyone had any experience with those?
