That's strange because I've heard that the TM is the only drop-in motor for the Revo.

The TZ has the wrong type of crank is has the SG style. For it to be a drop in it needs the revo style crank wich is much shorter. But you can get the right crank for it. Or Ive heard of guys griding them down but i wouldnt suggest that.

you can just about make any notor drop in since there are so many kits that you can use you can use traxxas big block kit and if you have a starter box and new era makes a kit to were you can use it pull start or roto start. alot of people also do use the tz but youre gonna need a tm crank.dont sleep on the rb and sirio drop ins they are both crazy motors also

oh it goes close to 60? uhh no it dosent do anything near 60 i can tell you that rite now, the revo 3.3 dosent even do anything close to 60 wth are you thinking? lol
On another note i will be dropping an RB motor into my revo either a RBTM528 or RBTM 928 if budjet allows. or a OS 30vg

ive lightened the crap out of it
and its not a completely hollow pipe, but its tuned for top end power, and i have it geared real low so its pretty fast it will smoke a revo 3.3 in a drag. i mean like do circles around it. ive also outrun jato 2.5s

i have a revo with os vzb and i would show you how to do circles as im doing figure 8's around you and i wouldnt do close to 60 so yeah youre pretty far off.not to blow up your spot but a 40 spur is for torque i run top speed spur of 36. your revo maybe fast but come on 60................

We were pulling well over 60mph with the 3.3 until we started having issues with the flux capacitor.

Just because the box says 100mph doesn't mean it's doing 100mph. I used to think I was doing 30mph or 40mph on my truck a couple yrs ago. Had a trooper clock it! It was a wopping 25mph! LOL...I think I'm at 30mph to 35mph with the 16tooth bell and 36tooth spur.
