Default Steering Problem on T-maxx 2.5

I just bought a t-maxx 2.5 (used) and the engine runs good but the steering and throttle servo are very sluggish, i have put fresh batteries in the case and it still is slow. any suggestions?

maybe if you have some money, you could buy a 5 cell rechargable pack. this will increase the power and torque of the servos. but, if that isnt enough, then a high torque servo for steering wouldnt be a bad idea. the traxxas servos are crap, so i'd replace them with better ones if i were you.

hope that helps!

you probably got bad servos and i'd suggest getting a 5-cell pack anyway they will maximize performance of servos...check out hitec 985 for steering and maybe 625 for throttle brake or save up and get hitec 5955 tg 330oz of torque will easily turn wheels...

I have put in AA lithium batteries and new servos. The servos work better and are much stronger but when i went to check my steering. it was tough to move side to side. What could be the problem?
