Default LST full blown race truck questions

Ok so I just purchased a LST, and i am going to go full blown race MT with it. What upgrades should I get for it? What is the difference between a lst and lst2? The reason I as is because pro-line has the crowd pleaser 2 that is setup for lst2 that has mounting hole spots and fuel spot all laid out. I was wondering if I should get this one or the universal crowd pleaser. Should I go ahead and invest in the LST to LST2 conversion? Thats all I can think of right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would go with the LOSI LST racer body.......it's really the best for racing..

losiforums.com is a good place to learn how to setup a sweet LST racer.

Savy Basher & LST Racer:

Best mods are:
FOC tranny (gears swapped)
40 Series Tires/Rims
White Springs
30K/10K diffs (F/R)
Rear Sway bar only
2 quality steering servos (I used AIR 94359's)
Shock limiters make a massive difference and its a SIMPLE mod!
wing kit (I actually prefer the OFNA LX COMP wing as it sits higher and helps the truck roll back onto its wheels)

...and thats it. With a good driver the 427 is plenty of engine for club meets.

As 2D said, check out lstforums.com.

Just remember you really don't need that much stuff, keep it simple and try to get to the track to practice.
