Traxxas Revo 2.5R vs. Losi Aftershock RTR

Hey guys. I'm new to the Forums but I've got a question for you. I'm trying to decide between the Revo 2.5R and Aftershock RTR. The Revo seems like a excellent truck from everything I've heard and read. I have a Losi XXX-NT, so I'm familiar with Losi's products. I haven't driven the Losi, but the Revo seems to be just a touch faster than the T-Maxx 2.5 in a straight line, but handle much better. I hear that the Aftershock is just as fast in a straight line, and has a little more bottom-end acceleration due to the Mach .26 motor, but doesn't handle quite like the Revo.

I will mainly just be driving around for fun and backyard bashing, and maybe race occasionally, but I normally just race my XXX-NT. I would love to have the mammoth 1/8 scale Aftershock, but if the Revo, is going to outperform the Losi in every possible manner by a good amount, than I will definitely lean towards the Revo.

I don't want spend more than $500 total, including supplies, fuel, glow plugs, batteries, etc.

Anyway, any and all thoughts would be awesome. Thanks!

Go LOSI. I had a REVO W/OS .18TM and I wish I went with the Losi Truck

Cheers

The Aftershock will be much more stable and fly better than a 2.5.

i love my revo 2.5. not much keeps up with it. i outrun all the ones with those OS .18s and stuff in them. it handles great and flys real easy in my opinion.

Check The Team Losi LST Out, a little more pricy, but hell of a good truck imo.
