Default New Savage questions

I have just got a HPI Savage and wont get a chance to use it until the weekend, I have read somewhere (cant remember where) about people having common problems with things being loose or coming loose very quickly.
Can anybody shed any light on this?

Default RTR Kits

Honestly, I do not see how anyone can buy a kit ready to run and trust that it assembled correctly and everything is tuned to perfection from the factory. I am certainly not knocking the assembly techniques of any manufacturer, however I simply cannot trust that it is perfectlyassembled after plunking down anywhere from $275-$800 on a kit. My neighbor whom I race with, has a Traxxas TMaxx 2.5 and it was very good from the factory but not perfect. I would check everything and definitely take the diffs apart and grease then better and for sure check all the linkages and things before running tank number one of fuel through any of them.
