Nice...You go on a thread about a mini truck that's not even out and start slamming it... ... For what I would want one for 4x4 is not really needed, It's a lot easier to do wheelies with a 2 wheel drive truck than a 4x4 truck... I'm looking for something that looks like a "REAL" MT, The WK looks like a real MT with the diffs and the chassis. By using a 27 turn 540 motor you can run a standard brushless motor (way cool). If you looked at the battery holder you can tell that lipo's will fit, plus if any of you guys looked at the hop up parts you can get steel diff gears, aluminum shocks. and I'm sure that the aftermarket people will have a field day making aluminum billet parts for this truck...sweet

Talking 4wd maybe pretty easy.

it looks like the front diff has a plug where the drive pin should be,so maybe the front diff is just hollow and you could add all the gears, driveshafts etc later on if you liked.

to me, the stampede is the wheelie king...if only traxxas added a wheelie bar to it

It should be (I hope) available before Christmas. As far as converting it to 4wd, I think it uses some parts from the MT2/Evo3 differentials. Which means it should be very easy to convert to 4wd. It was pretty much released as a 2wd version because 2wd wheelies easier than 4wd. Trust me guys you will like this thing....especially for the price! Oh another thing, brushless motors fit very well and I have heard that the Team Orion 4800 LiPo's fit good too!

I'm not really into the minis but I am going to get this one because it's 2wd and it looks really cool. Dave I'll give you a call tomorrow..

Thumbs up Hand Made Wheelie Bar

Hi All, I made the Shock & Wheelie bar on a Layth & Mill. It took me 3 or 4 try's to get it the way I wanted. The one wheel one didn't work all that well, It would try to land on One of the rear wheel's & mess up my gears ! PS: Adj. for front end heigh!

It would be pointless to have it 4wd. As it will always have two wheels in the air. Also its not a bad thing , when you have proper weight setup a rwd vehicle can dig into the ground and get some good traction too.

It looks like it'll be used to build many 2.2" crawlers, but I'm not sure it has the stuff to compete against the TLT.... even though it is larger.

If everything goes as planned it should hit the LHS at less than $200.00 I think it has the potential to make a crawler, but then again I haven't had the chance to take a close look at a crawler yet.
