I think there is a few weak points on the savage. I see new complain on savages on wildhobbies message board everyday. I test drove one but dont like the handling so i back off. Stock servo is kind of weak. But no doubt its a good looking truck.

Noticed that the shocks are little too weak because of its lengthy design. i suggest to change it to an after market light aluminum to make it rock solid. A friend just broke his shocks a week ago and tried to glue it up at the moment since parts are hard to find at this time.

i dont think you will have a problem with it they are bashing machines and always seem to hold up.

is it your first rc?

Every vehicle has its problems, with that being said the savage is one of the toughest most reliable rc's available with awesome part support both from HPI and aftermarket.
