i want to do that!!!

im not sure if it will be lighter, or heavier than the stock plastic. if it is lighter, then it will handle better. if heavier, it will handle worse.

aluminum will make the truck heavier. this will hurt performance. as of right now aftermarket companies have not come out with full aluminum parts for the X.

could we please not jack threads because PSO says dumb crap? i mean even though paint is going to chip off when the plastic expands and contracts, and the paint will add weight.......well yes it is a dumb idea. but leave him alone.

big-al PSO is a crazy aussie with no money, you wont think that way unless you move to australia and leave all your money behind.

aluminum really isnt worth it so i wouldnt bother if i were you. invest in an exaust and some drivetrain upgrade's (heavy duy drive cups, 3-speed). keep the F4.1 till it dies.

wer not talking about painting the internals of your engine....plastic dosnt contract n expand....well it does i just cbf explaining.....

no im not an aussie,i dont have money to waste but i live in australia and i am a crazy mod freak.....but have never beeen a fan of alloy......its a waste of money IMO....170 bucks for a pair of lower arms for the savage.....wat r u for real? rc shit here in aussie aint cheap...its gotta come from the us or w/e and then wegot tax's and i dont have a job n blah blah blah

use some oilbased or plastic paint.....that stuff contracts n expands....
