Default savage 4.6 for begginer?

i found nice guy that will sell for me a savage 4.6 build with all the kit parts, the engine used 4 months and 1 and half galons, that starts with rotostart,
he sells me all what i need:
* pack for the roto, pack for the transmitter
* engine
* build kit
* remote control 2 chan am futuva
* 1 gallon of sidewinder 30%
and the other stuff that im dont remember
this rc car and all the accersories for 500$ (the kit (4.6) costs 670$)

and i have some questions:
* this rc car is good enought for begginer?
* the price is ok? not too much (relatively to the price of the kit)?

Sounds a good deal mate, is this your very first nitro truck though. If so then a savage may be a little complex. Really you would want to go for a MTA4/MGT. there just as big, nearly as tough but are fare easier to work on and maintain IMO.
