T-maxx pull start hard to pull..

hey everyone. Few days ago i thought i would go and try out the maxx after a winter break, worked great and was super excited that it worked. So today went out again but when i was tryin to start it with the pull start, the cord was very hard to pull and i couldnt get it to start..anyone know how this happened when a couple of days ago the pull start worked great?

make sure it isnt flooded, with like wd40, or oil.
