That's a nice pair of trucks to get you going again. A versatile mid-size MT and a big truggy! What's going to be next?

Thanks!

I think buying upgrade parts to make the Kraton and Outcast as tough as they can be, buying more tools to work on them and more batteries to help them go. Once they get paid off, there should be more new trucks out there to buy then in two years. I just put on a wheelie bar and updated a set of fans for the Kraton:

Im so happy with my Arrma Kraton EXB roller.
I did have 1250kv kraton 8s combo in this.
It was too much. Wheelies at 40mph like nothing.
Way too much.

Now i drive MAX 6 combo. Hobbywing 160a 8s ESC and 6s 1650kv 4985 size motor.
And i love this car. So much power, anyways almost always control.
Great handling with aftermarket wheels.
Duratrax have belted ones offroad that are about 160mm ST serief MFT
these are great alround.

If you have EXB with the special diffs, have light oils , and belted wheels is better.
Center 150k front 50-80k rear 30k
Then you will not have problems with diffs.Shimming the diffs is also important.

I highly recommend the EXB Roller.
Change diff oils
RPM V5/EXB a arms the new ones, you must have them if you drive in cold weather also.
40-45KG servo digital
MAX6 Combo
80c or more 6s lipo 6000mah or bigger. I have 6800mah 90c in mine
Belted MFT Duratrax ST wheels
18t pinion to MAX6 Combo.
High voltage and high RPM Fans at motor and also ESC if you drive very hot summerdays like maniac.
RPM front bumber , or 3drc stock bumbermount
RPM rear wing mount, or 3drc
Dusty motors cover always
Reinforce the stock body, ask if you need help, i have great info about this
Outcast wheeliebar

Avoid Futaba Radio , i have Futaba now, this car is big and fast, you drive it far away sometimes at big areas, Futaba has not that range.
I will change to Dumbo RC6ch and gyro also.
I have this, and many extra receivers already.

I will also convert my Kraton to XL Kraton, 1/7 Mojave long chassis, and center driveline Mojave.
I will order from Scorsched RC Titanium Mojave chassis and titanium center shafts. Also titanium shock towers. Have it Stronger than EXB Mojave, and still more same weight like stock 6S Kraton.
I will maybe buy one long body Savage XL clear and paint it self, or some Proline body and use bolt spacers 3m to rear body posts.

Then next autumn i will buy one more EXB Kraton roller have it stock size.

I have also Talion, if you are more for speed, then EXB Talion is very nice with belted wheels stock, and other things.
Sad they dont sell EXB Talion like Roller.
I hate stock Electronics. I dont like Firma ESC, rebranded HW with bad software, too much options, more trouple and it will fire up easy.
The original Hobbywing is much better and stronger. You must anyways have the Max6 to these big cars. 160a ESC if you want be 100% safe when it is hot outside, or if you like Bash HARD ! Full send
150a is for buggies with smal wheels, and short wheelbase.

The V5 is best choise to beginners, EXB diffs need expert to work on.

EBAY have V5 and EXB sliders / rollers, only the chassis.
Choose body, wheels, and electronics self, this is the best way buy them, and buy all the right parts self.

i did bad crash today at 50mph.
Just needed take of the wheel, pop the arm back to the pillow-ball.
Then ready for Action again. Took me 3minutes to fix, Nothing broken or bent, LOL
insane how good these are. After simple mods. like RPM and so on

If you want very strong chassis, m2c racing got them, others too, real 7075 material, or Scorsched parts in UK, they send fast Titanium chassis, stronger, and more light weight also. WIN WIN.
Check out these companies, they have alot stuff, check also out 3drc and if you want CHEAP but durable alu gearbox , aliexpress have them cheap, like 35bucks only,
These are strong to be honest. I know one guy who have 20 6s arrma rigs he did buy first couple only to try, now he did order 10pc of these second order.
I know him from another forum. And his info is always trustfull.
You dont need buy vitavon or basherqueen alu gearbox for 110$ + for one.
You can buy two for less. and they will not get damaget either.
I will self order 4 of these this summer, and about 10pc coming autumn,
I have alot others stuff in my shopping list already.

This hobby EATS My money fast. Im too addicted to this. LOL
Im happy anyway that i buy everything Cash only.
I own my stuff, not the Bank. everything is paid cash with my card, no credits, this is hobby, i dont use credit cards because of that is my rule.
1/1 car, and House is different.
Toys is CASH only, atleast in my world LOL.

If you have any question, feel free ask, i know alot about these Arrma 6s Cars. I have them all, also 1/7 cars like Limitless, Mojave
I did start early 2019 with the V4 versions. Now i have many EXB also, almost same like the V5

I have 4years experience of these cars, and i have many crazy Arrma friends on internet who owns like me about 10 arrma rigs, some have 15-20 of them also LOL
I have try many different oils, parts and so on. alot trial and error, also read alot about these, and talk with hard core bashers alot about them.
Now i do know what these need to run very well.

To be honest i believe i have 12-13 of them, never counted., Minium 10pc 100% lol
All 6s or 8s
no 4s or 3s, dont like plastic. Because where i live we have hot summers, cold icy winters,. Aluminium is good, Titanium best here.
Plastic cracks easy at ice cold winter sadly.

I have done this hobby 20years about. Arrma rigs 4years. They start to be good at V4 , i did wait couple years.

Good luck guys and have fun, these are Amazing cars,

tip= buy slider from EBAY, get own wheels and stuff, aftermarked

I know also a good servo tip if you want know.
how to make the steering alot better, the stock spring has issues at servosaver. There is a easy fix in two ways, just ask if you need help with this

It's probably still a better option to buy the regular tires and use fishing line and a bead of glue on the knot to prevent ballooning. Looks like you can still add fishing line to those though.

These are very good if you have MAX 6 combo 1650kv big can 4985 motor.

My new personal favorite wheels to Kraton is these
https://www.hobbytown.com/duratrax-s...c5620/p1261435

ST is 161mm , they are half inch, you get more wider and stable car.

MT is too big.

This is why i buy the ST version, these weight also less . Belted, No balooning, i love these Six Pack ST Belted

The DuraTrax Six Pack ST Belted 3.8" Pre-Mounted Truck Tires come ready to bash. These tire have been designed to work with Traxxas and ARRMA 1/8 scale vehicles equipped with a 17mm hex. Featuring MFT belts (Micro Fiber Technology) these tires weigh less, balloon less, distort less, and are more durable than ever. MFT not only enhances the durability of the tire but also provides ultimate performance and traction.

about 45bucks pair only, dont think, just buy and be happy

i have try so many different wheels., And now i have found really great ones.
Car is so stable now, another level. No heat in combo either. So happy now

Take Care, have a nice day

One more secret about big Basher trucks like Arrma Kraton.

Thick Diffoils is wrong way to go. To avoid baloniing.
This is cheap and bad fix.

You want medium diff oil only.
You want these diff to work and do the job.

Thick oils makes the car agressive, and hard to handle offroad , at loose surfaces.
THIS IS WRONG to be honesT.

You want Diffs with medium oil, they need do their job, keep the car easy to drive, and forgive misstakes.

What you need to do is
1 Avoid Balooning = Belted Wheels
2 Keep also set of extra Stock wheels that baloons = These are fun when you like to Jump and do backflips,

Ultimate Basher wants Medium diff oil thickness to have easy to handle car.
V4-V5 200k center max. Rear and front 30-80k
EXB 100k center oil max, Rear and front 30-50k , 80k max in front
Always less thick rear.
Always most thick in center

Stockwheels to backflips and fun jumps.
Belted when you Bash FAST,
Have two sets wheels , and medium oils is the right way to Bash these rigs för most fun.

PLEASE=
Avoid cheap cheats like Fishingline tyres.
Avoid Mega heavy oils in diffs

These are my best tip to you all to take out the most and best of these rigs.
These are NO RULES. you dont need do like i do.
I have bash more than 20years.
I only try help you guys.

I have learn these things the hardway.
Only here to help !!

Try these things atleast, im 99% shure you will be alot more Happier Kraton Owner like im self today
After ALOT trial and errors,
Finally PERFECT.

The easy way to success and have most fun with Kraton is one more time

1 medium diff oils, dont go heavy. THIS IS WRONG and cheap way do it
2 Stock wheels or similiar unbelted to Jumps, Backflips., Stunts
3 Belted wheels when you bash FAST. Onroad and offroad FAST !
= Have both wheels, IS highly recommendet. Be awaible do more with your car, only by quick wheelchange !
4 Always same oils Medium. not these crazy 500k oils they say.,

Balooning is avoided with Belted wheels ONLY if you are serious about this like i am !!

You want medium oil to let the diffs do their job.
Avoid the crazy hype about Heavy oils please !

Medium oils =
You will have one easy to run car, and also be able Backflip it with stock wheels when you want do backflips sometimes
We all like backflips, and also high speed.
2 set of wheels yes !

Why Belted ST Duratrax and not MT ????
ST weights less.
ST have perfect size for most situations
ST will not overheat your combo
ST will save your driveline, your motor, ESC , and give you also more runtime.
ST IS MORE FUN and action than MT series of these wheels.

MT Style , and size = Go with stock. Not heavy belted MT please.

Proline Belted?
These are huge and very Heavy.
Rig Needs bigger combo if you buy them. Stock 150a Combo goes burning hot summertime.
Heavy wheels Will do harm to your driveline and other things with time.

Info About Half inch wheels ?
They are great. Makes your Kraton wide, good looking, Alot more stable.
These are great when you need go FAST without heatissues

Duratrax Sixpack ST MFT Belted wheels are strong, CHEAP, very long lasting, light weight, perfect size, Alot better grip Than stock.
And super great glued from factory. Buy these, try and be happy. I have try many different. These are my go to wheels from now only when it comes to Kraton 1/8 . 100% best
i have try of them all = many

You will take your Kraton to NEXT LEVEL if you do these things
Are you ready have more fun? OFFCOURSE YOU ARE , we all are worth this, have more fun, happiness, success.
Stay serious, no cheap cheating anymore right !

Try, and tell all others how you feel about these easy mods. Let others have more fun too.
No more Secrets. Just help others, have more fun. This is the way to save this hobby, and get people stay in to it. Have more fun and great experiense is important to all of us !
Let everyone know after you try please

good luck.
And Be ready have alot more fun + better Kraton now You will love it more after these mods 99% !!!

I like that, dirt and sand jumps.
Real thing.
Wood or Metal ramps is for skaters.

You should get a cheap 4k from Banggood. They are awsome. with stabilisator. About 50bucks only.
You can then copy nice high quality photos from the videos
