Default Revo big block build

So after many years of being in the hobby and owning about 7 Revos I have decided to build another big block rig. I have so far did the initial build and broke the motor in. Last night I tore the truck down in preparations for a lot more mods! Hereís a list of the mods so far.
Big red .28
traxxas big block kit
rpm true track rear
forward only conversion
The big block pipe
hd slipper pads
m2c 3 shoe clutch
wing
amazon rotostart backing plate
16/36 gearing

all the mods I just ordered and stripped the truck down in preparation for.

rrp wide trans gears
rpm front arms
sway bar kit
turnbuckles/pushrods
gtr shocks
aluminum shock ends
e revo diff cups/internals
Hd servo saver spring
hobbystar steering servo
revo platinum rx box and throttle servo mount
rpm bumpers
venter brake disc
arrma 4s backflip wheels and tires
and Iím sure more Iím forgetting.

pics of where it was at break in and then the tear down process to where it is now waiting for more mods.

Painted the chassis flat black and dyed the rpm arms and p2 rockers black. Installed rrp trans gears. Installed the new push rods and turn buckles. Unfortunately my lhs only had one e revo diff in so I am putting it in the rear and stock diff up front. I put a pic of stock vs e revo diff to see how much beefier it is. This is going to look slick all finished!

Everything is bolted back up and ready to do some bashing. Just have to set the camber and toe now. Ordered a revo platinum body for it as well. Hereís some pics with all the new mods.

Not really seeing the point of starting with a Revo if you're going to delete the reversible transmission. Without that, it's just an unusually top-heavy monster truggy.

Also, the true-track rear end will get wobbly after a few cartwheels. There's no support for the rear hubs except the cross-pin going through the lower pivot. That pivot hole is going to get ovalized. The original design is actually stronger, though it does benefit from aftermarket hubs that hold larger wheel bearings, such as the aluminum hubs made by STRC.

Got any pictures of it finished with the body on? Im currently rebuilding my Revo and my Slash 4x4. Im mixing in some E-Revo 2.0 parts to strengthen up the drivetrain. I have a big block kit as well but I dont want to delete the reverse...though experience with other trucks tells me if I dont delete it, it will probably grenade the trans...

I'm doing the same thing to my first and only Revo from about 18 years ago! Lots of parts still being shipped from all over the world. Thank you for this post. You gave me some good info difficult to find anywhere else.
