Does anyone make belted monster truck tires with the classic chevron tread (v-tread)? I have found belted tires in every tread pattern EXCEPT the classic v-tread style you see on Clodbuster like tires.

I want some belted tires for my new Kyosho USA-1 Nitro, but identical in appearance to the stock tires. The stock tires balloon very easily, especially when my truck hits third-gear.

Unfortunately I don’t think anyone does but you can do what people used to do before belted , they would buy the wheel and tire separate and then gorilla tape the inside to help with the ballooning

The proline dumont look like a cool modernized monster truck tire. Not sure if they come belted though.

you could always throw some stuff together and make them belted.

I tried taping the inside of some tires a while back and definitely regretted it. They were way off balance and road very rough. I won't be trying that again.

1000% true and this was my result years and years ago. Modern belted tires are the way to go. To the OP, I definitely understand why you'd want a similar looking tire to the stock USA1, they look great on the truck.
