Custom RC diff gears
 

Hi there,
I have a HSP 1/8th monster truck. The diff gears (HSP part 81042), are made of cheap cast metal and strip.
I am wondering if anybody knows where I can get custom gears made out of solid steel. But they need to be the same dimensions as my gears so they fit in my diff housing.

Useless

Most any local machine shop can make gears, but getting custom, one off gears made will cost more than the original price of the truck. Most of the cost will be CAD time to design the new gears, so if you truck is a popular model, order 10 or 50 sets, and sell the on Ebay...

Also, If you would post which truck you have, someone may have a source for better gears.
