Concepts 1988 Chevy Silverado Extended Cab Monster Truck Body (Clear)
I bought the JConcepts 1988 Chevy Silverado Extended Cab Monster Truck Body (Clear) for my traxxas stampede 2WD. It said it would fit the traxxas stampede 2WD and the stampede 4x4 and the clod buster. But when I went to put it on my stampede 2WD so I could mark the body post holes I noticed the body was way to big for my truck is there any way to fix this

Not really, you would have to cut the bed down so that the wheel openings touch the cab, that body is intended for trucks like modified Clods, SMTs, and LMTs.

You need to pay attention to the wheelbase. That truck body has a 13", 330mm wheelbase and a Stampede has a 10.65", 270mm wheelbase. J Concepts makes bodies that will fit your Stampede. You just need to look at the wheelbase.
You might be able to fit that Silverado body on a Slash.

I looked up the body on JConcepts website and it says it will fit the stampede

Problem is though, none of those have a 13”
wheelbase, even the box stock Crawler Kings, which top out at +/-12.5” or the Traxxas Hoss (think that’s >12”), the rest are less than 11” in the wheelbase. The wb info shown there is wrong for the extended cab/long bed body since those will be loooooong in any scale.
