So I'm learning that this 6S thing is all about the challenge of keeping it in a straight line..

I have a 14T pinion on it, and on 6S it's silly fast.. My MT4 G3 with 15T pinion is about as fast I think, and barely controllable... Which is fun and all, but man I need to find some wider streets...

Just taped up the inside holes on the rim, and drilled four vent holes in three sets of tires.. 48 holes...

I would think hitting a tree at WOT would be a complete write-off..

I took them out to the flying field recently, and one of the older guys was really eyeing the Kraton as an option for towing his glider to get it airborn... Bunch of old dudes eyeing and prodding it - they were quite impressed...

Second MT4 G3 rim rounded out in the space of a week on the Kraton with 6S.... Those rims had been fine on 4S for five years....

Herrsavage, have you ever tried an old-school monster truck? Solid axles, not too fast, top heavy, poor-cornering?

If not, you should; they're surprisingly fun. I had more fun with my Mad Force Kruiser VE and now with my FO-XX VE 2.0 than I did with any of my faster trucks. They're almost out of control at 20 mph over most off-road terrain.

Or maybe a Clodbuster? Looking at your signature, most of your stuff seems pretty racy.

...or a scale crawler? Those are a lot of fun even just around the house and neighborhood.

(Decent) crawlers are WAY too expensive.. I have way t0o many cars right now..

I have a couple of the mini crawlers from Hobbyking - very slow and they make a horrendously annoying noise..

I like my fleet - just hard to find cool places to run them...

If you think 6s is hard to keep straight in a MT4G3 or Kraton, try it in a 1/8 buggy! My first 1/8 brushless was a $20 early LX series Ofna I made a homemade conversion for. With a 2200kv Castle on 5s that thing would break the tires loose at just about any speed, bonkers fun. I bought a couple used sets of off-road tires for it and abused it until a curb took out parts that were unavailable. I ran my 8ight on 6s but it wasn’t as fun, it handled better and I didn’t drive it with the same reckless abandon due to its cost.

What are you doing man, I thought you were going to do eLST? If I ever get some rc time I’m going to make you a conversion just so I don’t have to hear you mulling it over again!

The one I wanted is still for sale, but I am just unsure about it.. Even though I still have tons of LST2 parts..
