Default Granite 4x4 or Stanpede 4x4 help

Been out of R/C trucks for over 20 yrs. So almost a new guy . Went to the LHS for a Traxxas 4x4 and the owner tells me I will be better off with the Arrma . I was ready to buy then left really confused. Both brushless and LiPo. Please Help. Thanks Doug.

Sounds like the LHS shop guy was looking out for ya. That's good to hear. I've read and watched a ton of videos on Arrma and have come away really impressed. Head over to Youtube and check out for yourself.

I was in the same boat out of the hobby for about 6 years, I also was looking to get a Traxxas Stampede 4x4. I'm happy to tell you I got an Arrma Granite 4x4 blx 3S very easy to work on. Went back and pick-up Arrma Outcast 6S.

Arrma gets my vote. Never owned one but traxxas pissed me off for the way they did my lhs that i work at. So my next new electric will be an arrma. I wish they made nitros to. But i have heard nothing but great things about arrma trucks so i will definitely not be hesitant to try their granite 4x4. Was a little skeptical about the plastic ring/pinion gears but they seem to hold up fine. A customer just bought the buggy version and is very pleased with it. It seems very well built also.

Get the arrma granite. You won't be disappointed.

I've owned the Stampede 4x4 VXL and Arrma Granite 4x4 3S BLX -- the Arrma is way better, it's not even close. And costs less too!

Thanks for all the input. Looks like the Granite wins hands down.
