1/8 Force RC Muckraker

I took the plunge. Tower Hobbies has this one on sale for $250, so I used a coupon code and scored it for about $220 with free shipping. How can you beat that for a 1/8 truck that is RTR?

My initial impression, fresh out of the box, is that this truck is very nice. Time will tell in regards to durability, but I'm sure I will have a ton of fun with it. First test, I'm going to be bashing it pretty hard tomorrow, so I will report back.

interesting. i once contacted arrma and had towerhobbies replying to me first : they wanted me to buy this same truck. i said no ! then later arrma HQ replied to me and proposed me the arrma notorious, which is a good choice.

Of course the arrma notorious is much more expensive than the motherracker !

I watched the muckraker video and found the arms twisting way too much !! do you confirm this ?

I have it all charged up and ready to go out tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes.

They are pretty grippy too. Good quality.

In the plane world Force RC is the cheaper brand for rebranding older, more mainline Horizon products. Is this not a rebrand too?

I think I read it is in the same family as the FS Racing E9.5 / Duratrax 835E. Maybe this is a truggy version of those buggies?
