ESC Programming?

Programming new Cheetah Extreme with Hobby Wing 120 amp ESC, came with 3s lipo. Will any program card work or do I need a HW card and if I run a 2s in it do I have to reprogram the ESC for the 2s.

esc can be programed this way from manual.3.9 Easily programmed with the SET button, LED Program Box, Professional LCD Program Box and USB Link Software.
