Shock oil ? New to the sport.
Just bought my first real RC. Bought a JLB Cheetah Extreme, what would be the best shock oil weight to use. Thanks.

Congrats on the new purchase and welcome to the forum!
What kind of running do you expect to be doing with the Cheetah and what kind of handling are you looking for?

Pretty much all type of train except mud like to stay out of that as much as possible, just looking for a good all-around oil.

You'll eventually want to get a few different oil weights to find out what works best for that truck and for your driving style.
The lighter the weight the softer the suspension which is best at absorbing bumps as you run fast over rough terrain. The downside to a soft suspension is it will bottom out easily off jumps and it will lean a lot in the turns and will be prone to rolling over.
If you want to jump more then a thicker oil will help the truck absorb the hard landings but it will be bouncy when you're running over rough terrain.
You may need to change oils a few times to find your preferred weight.
On that truck I would try 30wt to 50wt.
