I say the 1/7th scale is $899 and new ER2.0 is $699.00. That's about the what the market can sustain. The new Super Baja Rey is $799, but Traxxas has always overpriced new releases in the past, especially new platform vehicles.

Getting closer to the big announcement.

I saw someone "in the know" who stated that the drivetrain will share most of the X-Maxx components. This is pretty interesting, because he said it is not a scaled down version at all.

Makes sense. Hopefully they just go with the HD version to start with. Not as an upgrade.

That's not too bad of a price for the Revo. Wasn't the original Revo selling for like $650? Maybe trucks like the Kraton are finally starting to affect the sales of the Revo and causing Traxxas to drop the price to be competitive

Now that would be a major change if Traxxas offered it as a kit.

If that's it, that's a huge disappointment. I was hoping for a complete redesign, not 90% new parts that are just "updated" plastic on the same old design/chassis.

My E-Revo felt "tired", not because it didn't work right, but because it was outclassed in design and build quality/durability by several other manufacturers.

I will be honest, I'm a bit underwhelmed. I will wait and see what the specifics are before I say anymore.
