Thanks for the feedback on the diffs. Did you shim them at all?
It wonít allow me to post links to any outside sites yet. Maybe at ten posts. Iíve uploaded the pics to this site but it still thinks itís external. Weird.

I havenít opened the front and rear diffs so canít really say if itís needee. Itíll just be a long term thing. I opened the center obviously to change the fluid and that seemed solidly built so Iím thinking theyíll be good.

Couple more shots in comparison to the Redcat MT10E. I've got some running footage on my cul-de-sac that I'll edit up a little later to post for more comparisons. One thing you'll notice is I really need to get even heavier diff fluid in the center...still too much power loss to the front tires under acceleration. And this is only on 3S. It's 90 degrees out here right now and ran it HARD for about a half hour and motor hit 115...so it's almost the perfect combo for this truck IMO...I can't imagine it going any faster. Sheesh.

Did the front right shock (Pro-Line truck) bend on top? Looks so by the picture

No, nothing is bent. Just angle of the pic and barrel distortion on my cell camera I guess.

That right stand off looks bent. Take the screw out and inspect it. Angle of pic or not it looks bent.

You guys can believe me or not, I don't really care. It's not bent, it's the angle of the pic. If I look at it in person, it's straight.

I'm doing me...here you go...straighter shots of them. They are slightly angled (maybe 3 degrees) in on both sides, maybe that's what you guys are noticing. That's the plastic shock tower more than anything.

Thanks for the pics!
It comes as a roller right?
Is the Redcat bone stock or have you needed to change anything. It looks like it's had some run time on it. I'm curious how it's holding up.

Yes the Pro-MT comes as a roller.

The Redcat is almost stock. I put in a center diff because my son hates to wheelie and to protect the drive train a bit since he doesn't know anything about taking it easy. He's 5 afterall. I've also put in the aluminum skit plate which is more for supporting the bumper when he lawn darts it off my jump. Hopefully tonight I can get the footage I took today edited and you can see em both running a bit.

Love the Redcat for sure...especially since it's 300 bucks. Add the 50 bucks in parts I did and it's bulletproof. Can't recommend it enough, especially for beginners. On 2S it's plenty fast for kids. 3S is pretty nuts.

this little truck is growing on me. My 4 x 4 is out of commission right now so I took my 2wd monster truck for a good bash today. Every time I drive a truck, I just want to keep driving more and more. The idea of a 2200 KV on 3s is sounding pretty good. There's a guy on YouTube that converted a arrma Typhon to a smaller 11.2 wheel based truck that he runs on 6s. He calls it the Siren. I love watching him bash the snot out of this truck. Then it hit me, this new Proline truck has the same wheelbase. My wheels are now spinning with Christmas right around the corner.

I was looking to possibly get a solid-axle monster truck for Christmas, but maybe I will reconsider

I just had another thought, this truck would make a sick little truggy with 1/8 scale buggy wheels and tires on it. Throw a wing on the back, BAM! 1/10 scale truggy.

A little bit of Cul-De-Sac running. Need to get her out in the park to see how it runs really wide open.
