2017-2018 PRCP On-road Winter Series
With off-road season coming to an end in the next month or so we have been doing a little planning to get the on-road season rolling after harvest wraps up. We are going to run a limited schedule at the farm in pingree again! Excited to bring racing back to pingree!
Race dates all are Saturdays November 18th December 16th January 13th 2018 Winter Riot February 16, 17, and 18th In Jamestown at Quality Inn March 17th (we will see what the interest is) More info to come! |
I guess the only question is, what class to buy into? Is F1 going to be more popular this year?
Dan I really have no idea on F1.
I'll be racing 1/12, USGT and working on WGT-R
Thinking hard about snagging up some gear for this!
I'd say 1/12 17.5 and WGT-R will be most popular. These two I'm guessing will be most popular. VTA, USGT, F1, and 1/12 13.5 will run also if numbers allow.
The onroad track will be setup before the last off-road race in Pingree which is Sept 9th. Tyler Lynn will have a few onroad cars with him so people that are new or haven't tried onroad before will be able to see what it's all about!
Another thing we decided to do this season is have a drawing for people that attend all three onroad races at the farm in pingree. (Nov 18, Dec 16, and Jan 13) For people that attend all three race dates we will put those names in a drawing and will draw for 4 different winners! The first 3 prizes are going to be a bottle of SXT 3.0 traction compound and one second class entry fee per winner. If you only race one class at The Winter Riot we will discount your first class $20. And lastly we are going to draw for another person for a raffle ticket during The Winter Riot which will be for the larger raffle prizes! |
heck if someone had some rent-a-wrecks on race days I'd be interested in trying out some :) that WGT stuff looks interesting. Is there a place breaking down the specifics of what you need to have for each class (battery type, motor type, etc)

Looks like I have a wgt-r car on the way!
what are the dimensions of the track area itself?
Track is 72 x 40

I'll be at the onroad track Saturday sept 30 and Sunday October 1 both days. Going to be there practicing anyone welcome to join! $20 all day for unlimited run time. Be there till about 5pm both days. If you plan to come down make sure to let me know cause if I don't know of anyone coming I might not be there early, but if I know people are coming I'll be there early. Tyler will probably be in the field combing so make sure to message me or somehow let me know if you plan to come.
Thanks Bryce Barnhardt |
