Default FTR's 510 Raceway

Ok racers many have asked for better way to find info on the 510. I thought a fresh new thread was the best way. I have my web site you can refer to for more info if I missed something here.www.ftrcr.com Building address is: 216 Glen st Foley MN, 56329 Located directly south accross the Glen St from Murphy Chevrolet. Contact Sean @ 320-291-1557

First off a photo of the 510 raceway's new layout

Next up open times and classes ran at the 510 raceway;

Wednesday Night is Off-road practice from 5:00 pm to 10:00pm

Friday Night Classes;

Blinky Buggy, Mod Buggy, Mod 4wd Buggy, Mod Truck, Short Course Buggy, Mod Short Course, 4wd Short Course, Sportsman

Offroad races on Friday night with the track opening at 4:45pm or earlier depening on my work schedule and qualifing starting at 7:00 pm. This will be a fast paced program consisting of 2-5min quals scored rocket round with 5min lower mains with bump ups and 5 minute A-mains. Cost will be $10 per class straight up accross the board. Depending on entries I would say racing to be completed by 11:00 PM

Saturday Classes;

Blinky Buggy, Mod Buggy, Mod 4wd Buggy, Mod Truck, Short Course Buggy, Mod Short Course, 4wd Short Course, Sportsman

Offroad races on Saturday with the track opening at 8:30am and races to start at 10:30am This program consisting of 3 - 5min quals scored qual points with 5min lower mains with bumps and 8min A-mains. Cost for Saturday races will be $15 for the first class, $12 for second and $10 for each additional.

Many have asked that, and some thought went into it. But to make a complex story short, Five One Zero is Police Radio code for "Speeding or racing vehicles" and that's what we do......we race vehicles! simple yet clever.

Got any hotels in the area? Looking at setting up a budget to come out and race with you guys. I'd like to race Pro 2 and Pro 4 for sure. You guys entertaining the idea of a Short Course Buggy class? Prolly my favorite rig to race.

From Sean's website:
Hotels
St. Cloud-American Inn 320-252-8700 - 15 miles west of track
Knights Inn 320-255-1274 - 15 miles west of track

St Cloud is ~ 20 minutes west of Foley. Lots of hotels.

Bring it with Andrew, we have a few of them show up from time to time so it is a possibility for making a class happen. We ran a class of them this last friday night.

yes, it packed in very nice and much faster being there is moist in the dirt now. Tires are back to howling/squealing after the first week on the new layout.

We only offer this class on Saturday. You can use any brushed motor slash or 17.5 blinky brushless motor in any SCT or use a 17.5 blinky brushless motor in your Slash. Tires are open. Limited to a 2s lipo battery. No one has really taken a interest in the class but it may take off if a few show some interest.
