Just a reminder...only four weeks until the thunder rolls into Billings for the 22nd Annual Magic City Classic / 2012 ROAR Carpet Regionals.

April 26-28--let's ring the on-road season out with a BANG!! Prizes have been rolling in, preparations are almost complete. CRC's own Brian Wynn has confirmed he will be in attendance and will be leading a sizeable contingent of CRC Team Drivers and dispensing invaluable advice in his own uber-friendly manner. For comic relief and determined driving lessons Denver's own Mario Ficco will be on hand to do whatever it takes, up to and including lighting himself (well, maybe Brian or anyone else sitting within range) on fire to get a laugh when things look most dire.

As always, the track should be pretty much complete by about noon on Friday so the earlier you leave the earlier you'll be on the track and dialing-in your ride(s). The facility will be available for almost unlimited practice until midnight Friday and again Saturday night after the day's qualifying action is through.

The event will be held, as usual, in the Shrine auditorium which means LOTS of room, excellent floor surface under the carpet, professional food service on-site, etc. By utilizing Shrine facilities we're supporting good works while we have fun racing. Of course we'll be handing out the world-famous MCRC goody bags including an event T-shirt as part of your entry fee.

The entry form is available at http://magiccityrc.com/flyers/RaceFlyer2012.pdf. The pre-entry deadline has been extended to April 10...pre-entries not only get the reduced rates (always good) but are guaranteed their shirt size for the event T-shirts. Be sure to indicate your size preference.

Remember racers, at the Classic you get plenty of pit space to spread out. At least 6 foot long tables for your pit needs. A very large and 5 foot high drivers stand to see the track and help all find there favorite spot.

The MCRC Club has decided to add a 12th Modified Exhibition Class No Sign up fee. Intended only for the brave. So bring your Mod Car and a 4.0 motor and let see if we can get the time to stop and travel into the future..

Hey Guys,
I know that there were some others taking pics of the large group of guys and cars at our race. Could I get one sent to me to put on our web site. Ours seem to be needing a higher digital rate so it enlarges better.
