Yes I agree with you about TCHR. It has been a sucess and I believe it will continue to be. The comment I made was not to insult the owners of TCHR, it was to set the precident at this track, because I think everyone has learned a thing or to as a result of observing TCHR and the growing pains that have happened to the racing facility.
Gmain you should come on over and race with us. It is sure to be a fun bet!

I will try but Sundays are family days, and for some reason Weds have turned into lawn mowing days.

James, It is an open class
By definition it is an open class... Ie you can run Rubber or Foam ..Mod or Stock.. 6 cell or 7 cell .. 3 tires or 4 tires. It does not matter! It is open..meaning you decide what your going to run. I cannot help ya decide what your running, that is your chioce. If you have a problem with the class structure you dont have to race with us, but u will be missing out.
Now after week 2 of racing, we now have a drivers stand, frequency clip board, and timer. The straight was a good 150 feet long with one high speed chicane and several low speed technical sections. 5 minute qualifiers were completed in around the low 20 lap numbers. The surface was swept, blown, sugar watered, and billard table smooth. There is even some talk of the 12 scalers thinking about running here bacause of the conditions of the surface. Racing started a 2:30, with three heats of racing (15 racers) we were done around 5:30. If you are up for some Sunday racing and like being outside. I urge the racing crowd to come on down and try there skills against a fairly large track and competitive track.
SWG out!

I'm up for 3 wheel mod foam.
Sim, sorry I didn't make it Sunday, had too much stuff to do around the house. I should be there next week though.

Hey Ben!
Well Ben,
I cant give you an absolute as to when we would finish but somewhere in the 5:00 to 6:00 bracket sounds about right. (depends on how many rounds and lenght of the mains)
As far as timing laps, we are manually lap counting for the time being till there is enough money to but some sort of lap counting system. I hope to see ya there! I think you would really like this track!

Come out next wednesday to Hobbytown, we're racing Mod w/rubber tires. 6 of us (with electric, mod) were there this past wednesday but we got rained out after only 1 heat
