If so, do you have house transponders? Also, the two buggies will be running older AM frequencies (75mhz, multiple crystals, I know, I know, 2.4G is much better, we're kind of dinosaurs, we're running brushed motors and NiMh batteries, too). Is the radio thing a problem, or do you still have a frequency control system (clips or whatever)?
yes we run an AMB system and yes he also has transponders you can use. just be sure to return them... we're still missing one last time i checked. as far as being open before 3 you'll have to call sean to get the word on that. i just know he's been fishing alot lately so just double check. as for the am radios i dont think you'll have a problem as long as you dont poke anyones eye out on the stand. hope to see you guys up there

I'm Riv's little brother. Can't wait to race again. Its been years. How long are the heat races and main? Along those same lines, what kind of gearing am I going to need for a RC10B4? My batteries will probably be my Achilles heel (along with the fact I haven't raced in years) and I don't want to dump half way through.

2 - 5 min heats, mains except A are 5 min, A mains are 7 min. Try to run 4 cars per heat and all mains are 5 cars max

Wow. Did you mean 4 heats of SC and 4 heats of buggy or 4 heats of SC and one heat of buggy? Either way, it looks like a good turnout. We're still planning on being there next Saturday, possibly fencing on the drivers stand with our old (classic?) radios. It'll be nice to escape all of the Packer fans for a little while.

Is there any food available at the track, or do people typically pack along something to eat? I'm large and inefficient, and will need to eat at some point...

Nothing on site, but there is a McDonalds (and maybe a Subway?) within 5 minutes of there.

Kudos to Sean and the guys helping out at the track. We had a lot of fun. I wish I had given the Triumph a better showing, but rusty fingers will do that to you. The race was very well run, the atmosphere was great and the people were all very friendly. Just plain fun. I can't figure out why anybody from the cities would hesitate to get to Foley if they want some indoor dirt action. Then again, from Ladysmith, WI, I have to drive a ways for anything...

I'm still a bit put out that my brother beat me, even though he hadn't been to a race in 15 years and didn't manage to run in either qualifier. Well, somebody had to be last, I suppose.

Default Racing soon?

I was wondering if you guys are planning to race again anytime soon? I do seasonal work and the winters dying slowly, so Im looking to make a couple trips for R/C. I live up north, but would be willing to travel to check the place out. So no biggie just seeing what the plans are around there.
