Default SURREY INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY (SIR)

We are having a meeting this thursday April 17th at 6:30 in the cafe at the grocery store in Surrey.

Sounds like everyone is interested in getting the electric class going again using 4 cell 19t motors!

More later!

We'll use this thread for "oval talk"!

Randy if u want to come down on the 24th we WILL run that day!

We have a schedule figured out just need to post it, we aren't starting our points series until June.

1/10th pan electric 4 cell, 19turn, NASCAR Bodies, rear spoiler or wing are

allowed

1/10th sedan nitro, late model body, .12-.15 motors, no mod motors, rear

spoiler, no side dam, foam tires

i think we have our 2 day scheduled 21-22 June

we made an oval up at our carpet track and they were pretty fun! i think the

4 cell 19t will be pretty quick on the pavement!

Default The Oval

Hey Guys, I am so glad you got the schedule up and that today was a race day. You guys seem to have a great way of making it rain and now snow! I hope you all have snow plows for the front of your cars Personally I could not be happier to get the moisture!!!! If it gets to dry later on or to wet by chance I will be getting in touch with the pres to get a schedule change to accomodate the farmers Buttsy will that car be ready for me to run later today like you said??????

Just electric on Thurs. not enough time to do both classes on a week nite.

Unless we get lights!

Doesn't mean u can't bring it out and run in between the electric quals.

is there that much interest in electric i believe we tried starting electric oval this winter and pretty much got frowned upon. i have a few new guys that bought tc3s so is there a way we can run on different nights maybe we could get chuck a key for us to practice this week and the rest of the season on our own time and use some kind of lock box like the carpet was. i dont know just a thought. we are excited for the new season and being able to have points races. we were hoping to get out there this week if possible got some new toys.

we should have as many electrics as gas, i have no problem trying to run both classes on thurs, the main issue is getting a heat of cars all running at the same time so we're not taking 20 minutes in between heats, i quess we could try it if everyone agrees and we can follow the computer and if someone isn't started when their heat is up just we won't wait for them to get going. we're limited on week nites due to light.

Or if we get enough that want to we can run gas on a seperate nite during the week.

Getting a key is no problem, i plan on running this weekend weather permitting.

Lance has tires for sale for the nitro cars!

Buttsy i AGREE on the lineups, if you are not lined up just like nodak by the second pace lap its green flag for the field, you can join when you get it running if you can do so without disturbing the field. PLUS!!

Thought about an idea Marc and I would like a spoiler rule, this would keep them fromg gettting ridiculus, we though of an inch and 3/4 to 2 inch max on the rear and side parts of the spoiler no higher then the roof and no farther forward then the rear window, and nothing may stick back of the rear decklid farther then like inch inch and a half, just to keep people equal overall in look and downforce but still lots of room to play with.... and the spoiler is the only add on spoiler on the car in the rear, the rest of the body has to remain untouched except window cutouts and acess holes.

LANCE HIT ME UP WITH A COUPLE SETS OF TIRES!
