Thumbs up Offroad and Dirt Oval is still alive in Southeast South Dakota!!!

Just a quick note: Don't sell your offroad or oval cars just yet. We are working out the details of forming a club and preparing the tracks for a summer season in Tea, or at least somewhere in the Sioux Falls area.

There is a meeting scheduled for Thursday the 19th of April at 7 pm in the back lounge of the Tea Steak House to bring everyone up to speed and finalize some details so we can get to the fun stuff - RACING!!!

If you have any questions, PM me or call me at (605) 212-3568.

Thanks!!!

The cattle prod has not been necessary - yet

We had a great turn out for this short-notice meeting. About 24 guys representing probably 50 - 60 cars sat down together and made some good headway. We should be a "Legal Entity" in a matter of days. Lease signed and lot's of work to follow.

If anyone is looking for something to do in the evenings or weekends, let me know.

Thanks for the support!

What are the plans on a track? I would like to race this summer but was bummed out when TRC closed. Any idea on what will be run? Is it going to be the same classes that were at TRC?

Thanks

Default classes

From my understanding the plan is to run the same classes that were run there before. Hopefully we will be able to race next sunday but there is alot of work to be done. There is a work night scheduled for Thursday nite for anyone who can and is willing to work. Come on out!! If you don't know what to do just ask someone they'll point you in the right direction so we can be up and racing ASAP.

Default Sunday May 6 Races

The weather is not looking good for racing tomorrow. Both tracks are slimy muddy and the offroad is a mess.

I will take a drive over there in the morning if it doesn't rain too much overnight, but it if rains at all, we're in big trouble. Not to mention the 40+ MPH winds.

Check this thread and/or look for email from me for official information when it is available.

Thank you to all the people who worked hard this week to get the tracks and facilities whipped into shape in a timely manner. You guys ROCK!!!

See ya at the races,
Jeremy
