Marshall - Ok I'll confess the Wife is going to the Barbara Striesand concert tonight. Puhleeeeassssssse !!!

I need to make a trip to UPS any how in Eagan. Then I gotta stop at home and walk da dogs or there will be messes to clean up.

If anyone gets here and I'm not quite back stop across the street. The Round Up Bar has fine microwavable quisine, and of course the standard stable for the venue.

Side note - The proprieter/owner of Hobby Warehouse has decided his carpet is pretty valuble. I made a decent offer and he is thinking about it. I'll give him a day then order some new stuff if he doesn't come around.

I would think the area hobby shops would buy you the carpet for the increased business they would all get.

Rex in theory that is a GREAT idea and I've asked that question before. I don't think the owners realize how beneficial it could be not only for their existing clients but how much potential business there could be. How many racers have only 1 car/buggy/truck, etc. How many explore other areas of rc besides racing.....several.

So from what I heard, Tom is retiring, and selling the business to Jeremy? That's fine and dandy I guess, but why would they be closed from now till after Christmas???

Kinda shakin' my head at this one....

As for Hobby Warehouse..... Just stop by tonight and found out the Car side of the business is no more! They are closing the complete shop until Jan 2nd (changing the owners) and they are selling all of the Car stuff on E-bay as we speak!

Dan is gone and so is the car stuff. I went into the shop but they wouldn't even sell me any of the car stuff. They opened only for the evening and will now shut the doors until after xmas.....

So if you want some car stuff my recommendation is to go to RC Car Kings on Hwy 13 and 13th ave. They actually have more stuff car stuff and less airplane stuff.

I asked them why and they said they don't make enough on the car stuff to make it worth while to sell......End of story! Long live Hobby Warehouse..................

Rex - Been there done that no support, even though as you say they could be the ones that benifet the most.

I have a feeling there is far more to the Hobby Warehouse story than we will ever know. So my best coment is the following.........

All - As to questions about stock motors, tires, etc no good answers right now. Lets get it open first and see what we run and when.

I am also in the process of looking at opening a smallish Hobby shop on site. Initialy we hope to have a stock of simple things like motors, tires, tire sauce, batteries, motor spray etc... More inventory to follow as things progress.

Joe Zaier offered to help out on weekends so we may expand the hours a bit. Thanks a bunch Joe !!!
