They have not run any foam tires. Parts of the track are turf, so foam may not work so well in those sections.
Tires are primarily Schumacher, JConcepts and Proline carpet/turf tires.

Heavy duty chicken wire with a PVC plumbing frame.
Your car does not touch it if you hit it correctly.

I picked up a RC10SC 6.1 to race in the Stock Short Course class and would like some recommendations from people using this vehicle:

1. I'm looking at the Pro-line SC Prism, Pyramid, and Wedge carpet tires. Are any of these working well at TRR?

2. Is there a need to use the Gear Diff (ASC9827)?

3. I'm a former nitro stadium truck racer, so I'm new to electric. Recommendations on brushless motor/ESC combos?

4. Anything else I should know?

I'm looking forward to putting this together in the next few weeks and visiting TTR to break it in. Thanks in advance.

Most people run JConcepts Pin Downs and Swaggers for tires.
A gear diff is recommended, but surely not required.
ESC recommendations are R1 or Hobbywing.
Motor recommendations are R1, Trinity, Motiv, TSR, Fantom.
I would highly recommend you swing in on a Saturday and check it out and chat with the racers for more info!!

Thanks for the info!
I've got the gear diff so I might as well install it.
I'm unfamiliar with R1 Wurks and Hobbywing. I'll check them out.
Maybe I'll see you guys on Saturday.

Looking to come down with a few other folks! if it is not setup, is it possible to view the see-through table top portion to get some ideas for our track here?

Itís a brand new layout now, so that see through fly over is gone.
You can check with Ryan at the track. He may still have it for you to look at.
