Big thanks to those that could make it out yesterday for track "de-construction "
We got the old carpet pulled out , side boards removed , all click track repaired and cleaned , announcers stand fixed..
We need ...
TVs or monitors to get remote scoring viewable for racers .
Perhaps more speakers to even out the sound system .

Thanks to Danny, John, Shaun, Jeff, Miles, Cody for their help yesterday ..

We are waiting for the delivery date for new carpet , we will need help then as well to get it down and pulled out properly..

Have a great rest of the weekend

Pm me when you get a chance, I live in Middletown but work in Wilmington. I'd be more than happy to bring it down to 180.

Thanks,
Jeff

Track is looking great, thanks to the hard work provided by Casey, Danny, John, Scott and many more! If you are following 180 Raceway on FaceBook, you've seen the photos and updates. New carpet is installed. A fresh new look to the door, thanks to the support of Awesomatix USA. The place is really looking good.

As we prepare to begin our indoor season, I am looking for some help with Stock Wars. If anyone local is interested in running tech, I would be willing to pay an individual to be there to focus on only tech from Friday, 8 December through Sunday the 10th. I would need someone that would not race the event, as that becomes too stressful. We could go over everything in the weeks leading up to the event if that would help. If you are interested, please PM me. Thanks!

Thanks Robbie for bumping the thread up ...
It's now Indoor Season, like Robbie said the track is looking good, we still have a few things to knock out, clean up ect..
remember to bring your tables and chairs back in if you wanna pit in the front area.

The first thing on the track Saturday will be the vacuum again.. after we set the layout, we noticed some Click track dust from the trimmed pieces...

Who will be the first car to make a lap ??

see you all there

My MTC1 is in progress. Waiting on quite a few bits to finish it up. I also need to figure out which body I want. I don't think I'll be able to wait for the new Protoform lid. What is going to be the spec tire for 13.5? Also, is there a rollout limit?

I think Teach is planning on running the MTC1 too. It looked good at JMR on Saturday. Might want that Fenix alum. chassis for carpet tho. For our first week on the new rug I would recommend either the Protoform LTCR, MonTech is200 or MonTech Racer body. These 3 options have the most downforce, pretty much in that order (Racer being the most). Grip will be high but not super high, so it is possible the carpet will be a little skatey. If you want to go the PF route but can't get one in time, let me know. I might be able to provide a body.

Spec tire is the Gravity Type C. I'm not sure what our inventory is there. I also have some available if you need something. New and used (used will probably start out better on the new carpet).

I am sure there will be an FDR limit for the spec 13.5 motor. None of us have had a chance to run and test it, so that might be decided on this weekend. Outside we ran 5.0 minimum FDR. That might work inside, or we might need to bump it up. Not sure of Casey's plan on that yet.
