Well with the first race of the series in the books, it was a great day of racing. There was carnage and battles for position to be had for sure. All in all thanks to all those who could make it out. Posted below is the link for race results.

Default WTB: buggy 120a Esc

Hey guys,

I've raced at BACH a few times on Fridays and am going to join you on the next Saturday in a couple classes.

Right now im looking for a decent esc for a b5m. Hobbywing xerun or tekin preferred. I'm in Pasadena so local to the shop.

Thanks,
Kenny W.

Whats good brotha!! You are more than welcome to join in the Saturday fun!! As far as an ESC for the B5M, most of us throughout all the classes are running Hobbywing ESC's. There are a few that run Tekin and other brands. Myself, in 4wd Mod Buggy, I run the Hobbywing XERUN V3.1. Fantastic esc for the money. Chris should have them in stock. You will need a program card as well. If you cant pick a card right away, Im sure someone would lend you theirs to get the esc dialed in. Now in my 4wd SCT, I run the HW XR10 Pro. That esc is phenomenal but will cost ya a bit more. The V3.1 will be more than enough for you buggy. What motor are you running in the B5M?

I have a speed passion 6.5 in it currently. Might be too much for the small setup. What turn motor is the most used at Bach in 2wd buggy?

I usually race 2wd/4wd sct and just built a Losi 22st as well.

I believe that most of the guys are running either a 7.5 or 8.5 in the 2wd mod buggy class. I think its the same for 2wd SCT as well. Now, 4wd SCT is a whole different animal. Most run between 4300-4600kv 550 4 pole motors, while I run a 4.5 550 2 pole in my SCTE 2.0.

Good day of racing today. I was fighting problem after problem all day. Even with all the issues, it was a fun day. Link posted below to see results of the 2nd of 7 races in the series.
